Whether you’re a beginner or an expert birdwatcher, if you want to see some of the most outstanding bird species in the region, the best is to go with an expert local birdwatching guide.

Starting early in the morning or late afternoon we depart toward the spectacular and biodiverse area of Río Nuevo. Located just 15 minutes away from Puerto Jiménez, Río Nuevo hosts a great amount of bird diversity.
We hike along the main road, passing by riverine forest, cattle fields, and secondary forest. We typically have the chance to see around 50 different species of birds in a couple of hours.
You can choose if you want to include transport or if you want to use your own car (only if it's 4x4).

05:45 a.m. Search for and observe birds.
08:00 a.m. Return to Puerto Jimenez. End of tour.
