How to Book a Tour with Osa WILD

Before Booking:
  1. Explore the options available on our website (for customized or private tours you must contact us first).
  2. Ask all the questions you might have and clear all your doubts about routes, itineraries, extra services, logistics, etc.
  3. Choose your tour/activity!

Booking:
  1. If you want to book more than one tour you should go to our Full Online Reservation Catalog
  2. Click on "Book Now".
  3. Select the dates and amount of people.
  4. Add the extras you want to include (if necessary).
  5. Only if you're in the Full Online Reservation Catalog you can include side activities by clicking the green button "Add to Booking".
  6. Fill in your personal information.
  7. Read the payment policies and check the box. Then, click "Continue".
  8. Your booking will be created!

Payment:
  1. Depending upon the tour/activity you are booking, you will be able to pay right away or will need to wait for our confirmation; details will be sent to your email either way.
  2. Once we confirm your spaces and the minimum of participants for your tour we will send you the payment link.
  3. Now you can pay!

Important Note: All Corcovado tours need to wait for our confirmation. This confirmation can only happen until six months before the tour's initial date. Overnight and day tours run with a minimum of 2 participants. If you're a solo traveler we'll keep you informed.

If you're booking a Corcovado tour, we will update the name of your guide, meeting point and time in your Invoice so keep an eye on the update notification!
If starting from Pto. Jimenez, we encourage you to come to our office the day before your tour.

Snorkeling tour to Caño's Island

Caño Island Biological Reserve offers the best snorkeling experience in Costa Rica. The waters here are filled with abundant marine life: turtles, dolphins, rays, sharks, eels, hundreds of fish, coral, sponges, and a wide variety of mollusks and arthropods. When in season you could even encounter humpback whales and whale sharks.

ACCOMODATION

We depart from Drake Bay, the boat takes you on a 35-minute ride to the island where you can snorkel and explore two different marine areas. Each snorkeling session lasts around 45 minutes.

Between the first and second snorkeling session, we go down to the island, to rest for 30 to 40 minutes, there are bathrooms here and there's a short trail that takes up to a lookout.

After you've had the snorkeling experience of a lifetime, we head back to the mainland. Depending on the season and the weather conditions we might have picnic-style lunch at San Josecito beach, or we'll head back to town where a transport will take us to La Jungla restaurant.

‍All packages include a shared guide, if you want a private guide for your group, you must request it directly to our email.

Caño's Island

6:30 a.m. Meet the team at Drake Divers' office and try on your gear.
‍6:50 a.m. Head towards the beach.
‍7:00 a.m. Get on the boat and start your journey towards the island.
‍8:00 a.m. Arrival at the first snorkeling location.*
9:30 a.m. Pause and short rest at the island.*
10:15 a.m. Arrival at the second snorkeling location.*
11:00 a.m. Depart towards Drake Bay.*
12:00 p.m. Lunch at La Jungla or San Josecito (included).
‍01:30 - 2:00 p.m. End of the tour.

‍* This itinerary is an approximation for you to have an idea. But, these hours may vary due to wildlife encounters, climate conditions, or regulation changes from the administration.
