The Osa Peninsula is home to families whose roots in the region go back generations. This experience invites you to step into their homes, gardens, kitchens, and daily lives, sharing a genuine connection with the people who call Osa home.
Walk through family gardens, discover local fruits and ingredients, and learn how to prepare a traditional farm-to-table meal using wood fire and open-air cooking methods. You will have the opportunity to collect cacao directly from the farm and make your own chocolate, while listening to the stories, traditions, and experiences of the local families.
After preparing and sharing a healthy and delicious meal together, you will leave with more than just a taste of Osaβyou will take with you a deeper appreciation for its people, their traditions, and the love and dedication they put into preserving their way of life.
In collaboration with Osa Tribal, we are committed to creating authentic and educational experiences that connect visitors with the rich culture and extraordinary nature of the Osa Peninsula. Through cacao experiences and traditional cooking classes, we promote sustainable agriculture, celebrate local culture, and contribute to the economic development of our communities.
