Surrounded by tropical rainforest, Tierra de la Luna is more than an organic farmβ€”it is a living example of how people and nature can thrive together.

Explore three trails winding through the farm and surrounding forest, where you can discover birds, wildlife, native trees, and an extraordinary diversity of tropical plants. Every walk invites you to slow down, observe, and appreciate the connections between agriculture and the natural world.

Tierra de la Luna is a regenerative, organic farming system that combines ancestral knowledge with contemporary approaches to tropical agriculture. It is home to more than 100 species of tropical fruits and over 80 species of medicinal plants, alongside grains, nuts, tubers, vegetables, and other useful plants.

Native vegetation throughout the farm provides food and shelter for wildlife, creating a natural bridge between cultivated areas and the surrounding rainforest. Developed alongside local women agroecologists, Tierra de la Luna demonstrates that food production and rainforest conservation can thrive together.
