Our adventure begins in Puerto JimΓ©nez, where you will travel 8 kilometers on the road until you reach the RΓo Nuevo Nature Reserve. During this journey, you will cross the river three times by car, offering you an unforgettable experience and opportunities to spot birds, otters, and caimans in an impressive landscape.
On the trails of the RΓo Nuevo Nature Reserve, you will witness lush vegetation and the iconic creatures of the rainforest. Observation platforms, frog ponds, ancient trees, forest canopy viewpoints, and the refreshing pools of the RΓo Nuevo add to the attractions of this unique place.
When you choose to explore the RΓo Nuevo Reserve, you become a guardian of nature, adopting low-impact practices and contributing to sustainable conservation.
βImportant note: It is necessary to have a 4x4 vehicle for this tour, and there must be space for the guide.

6:30 a.m. Meet your guide at Hellen's Chill House and head out to Rio Nuevo.
7:00 a.m. Arrival at the entrance of the RΓo Nuevo Natural Reserve to start your hike (frog ponds, pollinator garden, 2 platforms, and different trails).
β9:30 a.m. Breakfast in the forest (not included).
β11:30 a.m. Dive into the crystal clear and refreshing waters of the RΓo Nuevo.
β12:00 p.m. Departure from the RΓo Nuevo Natural Reserve.
β12:30 p.m. Arrival at Puerto Jimenez.
