Mariano & Felicia are part of the indigenous Ngöbe community from Alto Laguna, located 8 km away from La Palma de Puerto Jiménez. Their traditional knowledge makes the tour a very special time since their stories are the same stories that their ancestors have preserved for decades.

At Aguas Ricas, you will have the opportunity to learn from ancient traditions at the heart of the Ngöbe culture by having a beautiful welcoming ceremony, observing how they live, what they eat, and being part of this very special community.

Mariano and his family can also offer rustic accommodation  (bed and breakfast) if you want to stay a bit longer. A swim in the river that passes close to the lodge is a must! Be attentive: the local flora is simply fascinating. In addition, the family promotes the preservation of Ngöbe knowledge and customs which are absolutely gorgeous.
