Corcovado offers several exciting options for your One Day Adventure, allowing you to explore different facets of the park:
La Leona Station: This hike starts and ends in Carate. You can get there with a 4WD rented car or a taxi leaving from Puerto Jiménez (PJ). Throughout the hike, you cross various rivers, some stretches of beach, and forest trails.
Sirena Station: You can visit this station starting from Puerto Jimenez or Drake. It's a short 1-hour boat ride to the heart of Corcovado, where you can easily spot abundant biodiversity. This option is ideal for families, short-time visits, and non-experienced hikers.
San Pedrillo Station: You can visit this station starting from Drake. This trail is a great place to see some of the oldest trees in the park. This area offers primary forest, waterfalls, rivers, and beaches all in one. This option is ideal for families, short-time visits, and non-experienced hikers.
El Tigre Station: This hike starts and ends in the community of Dos Brazos de Río Tigre. You can get there with a 4WD rented car or a taxi leaving from Puerto Jiménez (PJ). This hike is recommended for experienced hikers since the terrain is more mountainous and irregular. You get to see more primary forest and great views of the Golfo Dulce
Caño's Island: You can visit this station starting from Drake. This unique Biological Reserve offers the best snorkeling experience in Costa Rica. The waters here are filled with abundant marine life.
