This tour is located in Palo Seco, around 17 km outside of Puerto Jimenez, and runs twice a day. It's a very educational tour that explains the fascinating history of Theobroma cacao and demonstrates the entire process of making chocolate.
First, we do a short hike around the farm to see the cacao plantations and learn about the plant itself. Then, we go over to the processing area to see where the magic happens. The tour ends with a tasting of exotic fruits and freshly made chocolate fondue.
