The La Tarde Ecotouristic Project, located in the northern mountains of Corcovado, is a rural tourism initiative that borders the national park and an excellent place for watching birds, reptiles, and amphibians. Here you will spend the first night, in a simple and beautiful cabin. With a stunning view of the forest, the accommodations include a towel, soap, sheets, and shared bathrooms.
Experience an authentic immersion in the heart of Corcovado National Park by spending a night at the Sirena Biological Station. The station is located just a short walk (800 m) from the pristine shores.
Accommodation is in shared, rustic dormitories featuring roofed wooden platforms with bunk beds. While basic and offering limited privacy, the comfortable beds are equipped with sheets, a pillow, and a mosquito net.
You'll have access to nice and clean shared bathrooms and showers (please note there is no hot water). Meals are served in the communal, open-air dining room, where you can enjoy typical Costa Rican cuisine and connect with other travelers.
There is also a souvenir shop where you can buy cold drinks, coffee, and snacks. Lockers are available to store personal belongings for $4 per day, and you may also rent towels for $5.
